The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Stigtomta Titans's Robin Sjö made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anders Alström was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes into the match, POLICASTRO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Vestberg came free, but Anders Alström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute Kenny Beckeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wictor Vester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Dick Viklund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. POLICASTRO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dick Viklund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in POLICASTRO FC's zone, Stig Vestberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Alström came out of the goal and Stig Vestberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Dick Viklund made a precise shot to the right of Wictor Vester. Stigtomta Titans's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Stigtomta Titans booed when POLICASTRO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Boman didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kenny Beckeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenny Beckeman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robin Sjö got free with Anders Alström in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Dick Viklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Robin Sjö came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Stigtomta Titans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Sjö couldn't finish the play.

Anders Alström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Vestberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After 58 played minutes Stigtomta Titans got a freekick which was hit by Tim Lund. The attack was good, but when Dick Viklund in the 59th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a defensive mix-up in POLICASTRO FC's zone, Stig Vestberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anders Alström came out of the goal and Stig Vestberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kenny Beckeman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Wictor Vester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Stigtomta Titans getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Vidar Ahlroht hit a great ball. With his leg Wictor Vester managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when POLICASTRO FC's Kenny Beckeman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Dick Viklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig Vestberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herman Eriksson hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes Stigtomta Titans got a freekick which was hit by Tim Lund. Stigtomta Titans's Wictor Vester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dick Viklund in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Robin Sjö got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robin Sjö's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Alström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Wictor Vester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dick Viklund in the 89th minute of the match. Kenny Beckeman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Robin Sjö had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute, Robin Sjö left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stigtomta Titans fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
