Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bernt Magnusson started the match with the kick off. Bror Tillman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Östman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melker Qvarnström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Albohm in the 5th minute of the match. With a little luck, Viksjöfors IK's Bror Tillman got control of the ball when Wilhelm Ekblom tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Viksjöfors IK defense, Wilhelm Ekblom kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bror Tillman. The Viksjöfors IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bror Tillman should have stopped the shot. After 15 played minutes Viksjöfors IK got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Wållander. 23 minutes into the game, Erling Kellbom was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viksjöfors IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jämjö the free kick. Melker Qvarnström came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Viksjöfors IK's Bernt Magnusson. But to his dismay, Bernt Magnusson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Viksjöfors IK's Bror Tillman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Viksjöfors IK from getting a goal against them. Wilhelm Ekblom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Bror Tillman made a huge save. Wilhelm Ekblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bror Tillman having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilhelm Ekblom in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bror Tillman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Melker Qvarnström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walter Albohm in the 55th minute. Walter Albohm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melker Qvarnström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Walter Albohm fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Melker Qvarnström, passed just outside the right post. In the 90th minute, Greger Gunnarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Viksjöfors IK getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Erland Gadd hit a great ball. Sixten Spets took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bror Tillman. Viksjöfors IK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jämjö's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
