Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rune Söderberg to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Boris Telin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sparsör's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sydkoster the free kick. Gottfrid Markusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rune Söderberg in the 56th minute of the match. After 59 minutes, Thor Sundén mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sydkoster and the Sparsör players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 59 played minutes Sydkoster got a freekick which was hit by Thor Sundén. Nils-Emil Björk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmund Vester in the 65th minute. Andréas Ekman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nils-Emil Björk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sigvard Ekeberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andréas Ekman got free with Nils-Emil Björk in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Sydkoster booed when Sparsör was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicklas Majman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gottfrid Markusson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rikard Sandwall went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Andréas Ekman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Nils-Emil Björk made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Rikard Sandwall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gottfrid Markusson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 95 minutes into the match, Sydkoster's Rune Söderberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gottfrid Markusson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sydkoster's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
