Gunnar Käcker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 41 played minutes Sockerbagarna got a freekick which was hit by Krister Lange. Gunnar Käcker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rune Söderberg in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rune Söderberg to strike the kick off in the second half. When Sydkoster's Rikard Sandwall in 53 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Gunnar Käcker guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 57thth minute of the game Joakim Haglund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sydkoster's Nils-Emil Björk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Sockerbagarna booed when Sydkoster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petter Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 65th minute Rune Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Käcker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74th play minutes Joakim Haglund shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Nils-Emil Björk and just under the crossbar into goal. Rikard Sandwall who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Gunnar Käcker when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gunnar Käcker made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Rikard Sandwall sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Sydkoster booed when Sockerbagarna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viktor Jakobsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joakim Haglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Emil Björk having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
