The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Kasper Winström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, Casper Ek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Evert Näfver was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute Andréas Lindgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Näfver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Greger Ekenberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orvar Holmgren in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Glanshammar's Kasper Winström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Greger Ekenberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Chumpions's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Åberg came free, but Greger Ekenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kasper Winström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the game, Kasper Winström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Greger Ekenberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Glanshammar's Evert Näfver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casper Ek in the 42nd minute of play. Glanshammar's Orvar Holmgren got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the game, Chumpions's Casper Ek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evert Näfver made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orvar Holmgren to make the kick off. Greger Ekenberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orvar Holmgren's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Joseph Åberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greger Ekenberg having to interfere. Kasper Winström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Kasper Winström came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Glanshammar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kasper Winström couldn't finish the play. After 69 played minutes Glanshammar got a freekick which was hit by Anthon Ekrot. In the 76th minute, Orvar Holmgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Orvar Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orvar Holmgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Greger Ekenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Kasper Winström came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Glanshammar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kasper Winström couldn't finish the play.
