After 2 minutes, Jan-Erik Granström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sjövik BF and the Peking Stars players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Jan-Erik Granström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jon Jonasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrik Unesson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Åström having to make a save. When Gottfrid Vinström fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sjövik BF's protests and gave Gottfrid Vinström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Sjövik BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gottfrid Vinström to maneuver through the defense. Ted Bratt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Mark Åström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Sjövik BF's Mark Åström got control of the ball when Ted Bratt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Patrik Unesson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Patrik Unesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sjövik BF's Mark Åström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Unesson in the 29th minute of play. Mark Åström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Unesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The goalkeeper, Mark Åström, was totally fooled by Peking Stars's Jon Jonasson, who 36 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 40th minute, Patrik Unesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sjövik BF's zone, Ted Bratt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Åström came out of the goal and Ted Bratt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Rönn in the 44th minute of play forced Peking Stars's goalkeeper Marcus Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrik Unesson made a kick off. Gottfrid Vinström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Marcus Eckegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mark Åström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Unesson in the 54th minute of play. Ted Bratt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Åström having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony Rönn during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute, Tony Rönn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Ted Bratt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Ludvig Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ted Bratt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ted Bratt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mark Åström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, Peking Stars's Ted Bratt made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mark Åström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ted Bratt struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Mark Åström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peking Stars. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Bratt in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mark Åström saved Sjövik BF from getting behind. 78 minutes into the match, Sjövik BF's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Unesson came free, but Mark Åström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Unesson in the 81st minute of play forced Sjövik BF's goalkeeper Mark Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Sten Alfors got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sjövik BF's Mark Åström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Bratt in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Sjövik BF's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Bratt came free, but Mark Åström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Sjövik BF's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Hellkvist came free, but Mark Åström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Peking Stars had played much better football throughout.
