After a rather tough play, Liverpool F.C.'s Edward Tinglöv got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Kåre Söderqwist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the game, Torsten Offendahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverpool F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mangskog the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Liverpool F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torsten Offendahl to maneuver through the defense. Kåre Söderqwist charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kåre Söderqwist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes Mangskog got a freekick which was hit by Kåre Söderqwist. In the last second Pål Ahlbom throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dan Örtendahl in the 14thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Dan Örtendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Mangskog's Kåre Söderqwist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pål Ahlbom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Dan Örtendahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pål Ahlbom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kåre Söderqwist in the 36th minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Liverpool F.C.'s goalkeeper Pål Ahlbom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dan Örtendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Pål Ahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dan Örtendahl made a kick off. Joseph Strömberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Torsten Offendahl was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. Torsten Offendahl kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Pål Ahlbom didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mangskog's Kåre Söderqwist shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Kåre Söderqwist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Ahlbom having to interfere. Gabriel Käcker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maximilian Brander went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kåre Söderqwist in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pål Ahlbom saved Liverpool F.C. from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool F.C.'s zone, Dan Örtendahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pål Ahlbom came out of the goal and Dan Örtendahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pål Ahlbom came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Mangskog's Dan Örtendahl. But to his dismay, Dan Örtendahl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Pål Ahlbom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kåre Söderqwist's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. If Dan Örtendahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Örtendahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Ahlbom having to interfere. If Kåre Söderqwist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Liverpool F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dan Örtendahl came free, but Pål Ahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Liverpool F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mangskog.
