Nils Ros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Ingemar Hjälm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Thedin in the 21st minute of play. When Rottneros FK's Freddie Thedin in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ingemar Hjälm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Ekeroth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Rottneros FK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Freddie Thedin hit a great ball. Josef Palm made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Bo Lindgren sent off a good shot on target. Nils Ros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Josef Palm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Rottneros FK were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils Ros was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Nils Ros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Palm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55th play minutes Freddie Thedin shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Ingemar Hjälm and just under the crossbar into goal. Ingemar Hjälm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Algren in the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, Wijnaldum and Poepon's Nils Ros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josef Palm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. When Rottneros FK's Richard Algren in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wijnaldum and Poepon's goalie prevented a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Richard Algren notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Wijnaldum and Poepon's Ingemar Hjälm. Ingemar Hjälm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Josef Palm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Ros in the 71st minute of the match. Mark Wallmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Palm having to interfere. If Nils Ros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingemar Hjälm made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Freddie Thedin sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Bo Lindgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Freddie Thedin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rottneros FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddie Thedin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingemar Hjälm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ingemar Hjälm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Freddie Thedin went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. Ingemar Hjälm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Algren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Wijnaldum and Poepon fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rottneros FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
