Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Måns Rudkvist in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Alefors prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Ready Football Club's Alfons Vollander got control of the ball when Evert Sikström tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Bro IK booed when Ready Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalle Walroth didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Svanberg in the 18th minute of play forced Ready Football Club's goalkeeper Alfons Vollander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roger Alefors came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Ready Football Club's Måns Rudkvist. But to his dismay, Måns Rudkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Bro IK's Evert Sikström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfons Vollander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Christoffer Viberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evert Sikström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfons Vollander having to interfere. When Christoffer Viberg fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ready Football Club's protests and gave Christoffer Viberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bro IK booed when Ready Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoffer Viberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Löfkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Alefors having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Kent Norberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Peter Löfkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evert Sikström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfons Vollander having to make a save. Kalle Walroth's late challenge caught a Bro IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kalle Walroth helped the player get up and apologised.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Peter Löfkvist to make the kick off. Bro IK's Roger Alefors proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Bro IK from getting a goal against them. Måns Rudkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Roger Alefors tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evert Sikström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evert Sikström during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Bro IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Sikström to maneuver through the defense. Peter Löfkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64 played minutes Ready Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Christoffer Viberg. After 66 minutes of play Ready Football Club's Kalle Walroth was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 67th minute, Kalle Walroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes Bro IK got a freekick which was hit by Torgny Svanberg. Roger Alefors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Löfkvist in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Kent Norberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bro IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kent Norberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Evert Sikström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christoffer Viberg kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. During the 87th minute of the match Christoffer Viberg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Christoffer Viberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 88th minute, Christoffer Viberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evert Sikström struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Alfons Vollander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bro IK. Alfons Vollander came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Bro IK's Evert Sikström. But to his dismay, Evert Sikström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bro IK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
