Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jonas Stålberg got the match started through his kick off. Roger Siöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Pettersson in the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, IFK Nyköping's goal looked a bit too open when Andy Palm came free, but Roger Siöberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dahlby´s IK's Jan-Olof Carlsson got a free kick in the 8th minute. Stellan Algren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roger Siöberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Jonas Stålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Evert Fogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Stålberg in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evert Fogel saved Dahlby´s IK from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, Dahlby´s IK's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Stålberg came free, but Evert Fogel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kasper Bengtsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Evert Fogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evert Fogel came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by IFK Nyköping's Elliott Linquist. But to his dismay, Elliott Linquist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Roger Siöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Palm in the 38th minute of the match. After 39 minutes, Elliott Linquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the IFK Nyköping and the Dahlby´s IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Dahlby´s IK booed when IFK Nyköping was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elliott Linquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stellan Algren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Roger Siöberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 41 minutes, Andy Palm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dahlby´s IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andy Palm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roger Siöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Palm in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Andy Palm made the kick off in the second half. Dahlby´s IK's Evert Fogel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Stålberg in the 53rd minute of play. Andy Palm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Siöberg having to interfere. Dahlby´s IK's Stellan Algren got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andy Palm scored 1-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Siöberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, Andy Palm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Dag Gallberg fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored IFK Nyköping's protests and gave Dag Gallberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes IFK Nyköping got a freekick which was hit by Dag Gallberg. After 74 played minutes, Dahlby´s IK's Magnus Bålström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roger Siöberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dahlby´s IK reached it. In the 75th minute, Stellan Algren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to IFK Nyköping getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Dag Gallberg hit a great ball. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Nyköping's goalkeeper Roger Siöberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Stellan Algren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stellan Algren in the 82nd minute of play forced IFK Nyköping's goalkeeper Roger Siöberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andy Palm in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Siöberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 85 played minutes, Dahlby´s IK's Verner Ekeroth shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roger Siöberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dahlby´s IK reached it. Jonas Stålberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Evert Fogel came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonas Stålberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 89th minute. Andy Palm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Dahlby´s IK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching IFK Nyköping's performance. The match ended with a win for IFK Nyköping.
