A very good opportunity. Järpås's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tierp FK the free kick. When Stig-Arne Högberg came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Tierp FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig-Arne Högberg couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute of the match Bo-Erik Hedbom sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Freddie Karlsson skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Stig-Arne Högberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tierp FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Arne Högberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 30 played minutes Järpås got a freekick which was hit by Leo Nyström. Järpås's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl Gustafsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Fransson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Tierp FK's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Rosin came free, but Ian Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Järpås's zone, Stig-Arne Högberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddie Karlsson came out of the goal and Stig-Arne Högberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94thth minute of the game Karl Gustafsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tierp FK's Ian Fransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Järpås supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tierp FK's performance. The match ended with a win for Tierp FK.
