The audience thought a goal was coming when Per Stenström got free with Christer Hafström in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilbert Björling hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustav Törnkvist in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rune Åkesson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 29 in the game by Per Stenström from a close distance when the talented Christer Hafström managed to make a qualified save. Rydaholm's players were relieved. After 30 minutes, Per Stenström made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rydaholm's Christer Hafström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Hans Johnsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christer Hafström. The goal made the score 3-0. Per Stenström struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Christer Hafström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vallentuna BK. The crowd rose to their feet as Hans Johnsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christer Hafström. That made the score 4-0 in the 43 minute of play. Per Stenström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Christer Hafström made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustav Törnkvist to make the kick off. Hans Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Rydaholm's zone, Per Stenström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Hafström came out of the goal and Per Stenström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute Hans Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Hafström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Hans Johnsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christer Hafström was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 69th minute, Rickard Bern hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans Johnsson took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christer Hafström. Christer Hafström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Christer Hafström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Stenström in the 76th minute of the match. Gustav Törnkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rydaholm booed when Vallentuna BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Jönsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rydaholm's Christer Hafström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans Johnsson in the 85th minute of play. Christer Hafström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Johnsson in the 87th minute of the match. The nice shot from Håkan Karlsson in the 89thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Rune Åkesson had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Max Jönsson hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Håkan Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rydaholm's supporters rose to their feet, but Håkan Karlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Åkesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Gustav Törnkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rune Åkesson. Vallentuna BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustav Törnkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1.
