Ingmar Hjeltman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Freddie Karlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Karesuando IFK's Ingmar Hjeltman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Freddie Karlsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A hard shot by Tom Bogren from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Alexander Boström's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Karesuando IFK's Ingmar Hjeltman got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ingmar Hjeltman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Freddie Karlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mattias Esbjörnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Örjan Rosin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Järpås's supporters rose to their feet, but Örjan Rosin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexander Boström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Örjan Rosin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karesuando IFK's Alexander Boström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Karesuando IFK from getting a goal against them. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Järpås's goalkeeper Freddie Karlsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

Mattias Esbjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddie Karlsson having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Kåre Ahlström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the game, Ludwig Rönn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Järpås's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karesuando IFK the free kick. The goalkeeper, Freddie Karlsson, was totally fooled by Karesuando IFK's Sven-Ove Sjögren, who 71 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 77 minutes into the match, Karesuando IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Smedfeldt came free, but Alexander Boström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Karesuando IFK's Fabian Lundström got a free kick in the 79th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Örjan Rosin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Järpås's supporters crossed their fingers, but Örjan Rosin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl Gustafsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Boström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl Gustafsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexander Boström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Örjan Rosin in the 92nd minute of the match. Karesuando IFK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
