Spectators: 7088 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Gustav Törnkvist made the kick off and thus started the match. When Michael Smedfeldt came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Järpås fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Smedfeldt couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Rosin in the 7th minute of play forced Rydaholm's goalkeeper Christer Hafström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Örjan Rosin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Järpås's Örjan Rosin got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 20 minutes, Tom Bogren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Järpås and the Rydaholm players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Järpås getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Tom Bogren hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Rydaholm's Bengt Örtendal tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 23 played minutes Järpås got a freekick which was hit by Leo Nyström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Nyström in the 27th minute of play forced Rydaholm's goalkeeper Christer Hafström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 35 in the game by Håkan Karlsson from a close distance when the talented Freddie Karlsson managed to make a qualified save. Järpås's players were relieved. Örjan Rosin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Christer Hafström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christer Hafström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Gustafsson in the 38th minute of the match. Freddie Karlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Törnkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Rydaholm's Bengt Örtendal got a free kick in the 46th minute. If Karl Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

If Rickard Bern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Järpås's Michael Smedfeldt got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 62nd minute, Karl Gustafsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Järpås fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 68 minutes into the match, Rydaholm's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Rosin came free, but Christer Hafström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Örjan Rosin in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christer Hafström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 74 played minutes, Järpås's Yngve Tinglöf shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christer Hafström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Järpås reached it. With a little luck, Rydaholm's Christer Hafström got control of the ball when Karl Gustafsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Örjan Rosin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rydaholm's Christer Hafström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Rydaholm from getting a goal against them. Håkan Karlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Freddie Karlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leo Nyström hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. If Håkan Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Järpås's Michael Smedfeldt got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 97th minute of the match Rydaholm got a corner. Järpås's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bengt Örtendal ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Rydaholm supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Järpås's performance. The match ended with a win for Järpås.
