Spectators: 7283 (Terracing: 5464, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Börje Strömqvist got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, David's Kalle Wall sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konrad Kielberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilhelm Biörnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Börje Strömqvist in the 4th minute of play. Per Holmgren took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilhelm Biörnberg. Wilhelm Biörnberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, David's Martin Linquist got a free kick in the 11th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in David fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Vänge's Andreas Fribäck got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Erik Blomqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilhelm Biörnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Strömqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per Holmgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Vänge's zone, Sven Ström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konrad Kielberg came out of the goal and Sven Ström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 played minutes Vänge got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Lang. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Blomqvist made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Blomqvist in the 55th minute of play forced Vänge's goalkeeper Konrad Kielberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konrad Kielberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Blomqvist in the 57th minute of play. Per Holmgren was extremely unlucky when he, in the 58th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Axel Eckegren kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Blomqvist in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konrad Kielberg saved Vänge from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, David's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Strömqvist came free, but Wilhelm Biörnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Blomqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Ström in the 74th minute of play forced Vänge's goalkeeper Konrad Kielberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johan Samuelsson struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Wilhelm Biörnberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vänge. Wilhelm Biörnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Strömqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Konrad Kielberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Blomqvist in the 84th minute of play. Erik Blomqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Kielberg having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Sven Ström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. David's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven Ström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Johan Samuelsson fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vänge's protests and gave Johan Samuelsson a yellow card for diving instead. Konrad Kielberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erik Blomqvist went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score.
