In the 6th minute, Villiam Bergsten ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sten Salkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Kaj Melberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mårten Svartengren in the 9th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Brian Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaj Melberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tokman FC's Kaj Melberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Björkdal in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to Åstorp getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Staffan Jansson hit a great ball. After 37 minutes of play, Åstorp's Brian Holmberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kaj Melberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kaj Melberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Holmberg in the 41st minute of play. Mårten Svartengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Tokman FC's zone, Mårten Svartengren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kaj Melberg came out of the goal and Mårten Svartengren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Villiam Bergsten to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Anton Björkdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Eskil Martinsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kaj Melberg. Tokman FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eskil Martinsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. With his leg Kaj Melberg managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Åstorp's Brian Holmberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 65 minutes into the match, Åstorp's goal looked a bit too open when Villiam Bergsten came free, but Sten Salkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Brian Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kaj Melberg made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Brian Holmberg sent off a good shot on target. Kaj Melberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mårten Svartengren in the 80th minute of the match. If Mårten Svartengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tokman FC's goalkeeper Kaj Melberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Tokman FC's goalkeeper Kaj Melberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brian Holmberg. After a rather tough play, Åstorp's Brian Holmberg got a free kick in the 90th minute. Sten Salkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Duset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mårten Svartengren in the 94th minute of play forced Tokman FC's goalkeeper Kaj Melberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åstorp's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
