Spectators: 7272 (Terracing: 5456, Seating: 1672, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jens-Åke Jönsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Einar Blomqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Magnus Söderkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute of the match, Johan Holmgren got a very nice opportunity to score, but John Åkerberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. John Åkerberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johan Holmgren's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Einar Blomqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agne Johnsson went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils-Åke Forsberg during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nils-Åke Forsberg hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Karl-Magnus Söderkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Einar Blomqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agne Johnsson went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. John Åkerberg came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Såtenäs's Johan Holmgren. But to his dismay, Johan Holmgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 44th minute of the match Nils-Åke Forsberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but John Åkerberg skillfully saved the ball. Jens-Åke Jönsson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Såtenäs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Totten were winning 1-2.

54 minutes into the game, Ingvar Sjöberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Totten's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Såtenäs the free kick. After 54 played minutes FC Totten got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Sjöberg. FC Totten's John Åkerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Åke Jönsson in the 64th minute of play. John Åkerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo-Erik Bäck in the 65th minute of the match. Tomas Hake hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute of the match Nils-Åke Forsberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but John Åkerberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 68th minute Jens-Åke Jönsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Åkerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game Jens-Åke Jönsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Totten's John Åkerberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 2-2 became the score in the 74th minute when Johan Holmgren elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 77th minute of the match Måns Brodin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Einar Blomqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Bo-Erik Bäck fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Såtenäs's protests and gave Bo-Erik Bäck a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Såtenäs's Bo-Erik Bäck got a free kick in the 78th minute. Såtenäs's Einar Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agne Johnsson in the 86th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Karl-Magnus Söderkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Totten's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Magnus Söderkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Einar Blomqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The FC Totten supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Totten would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
