Spectators: 7364 (Terracing: 5524, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eric Back kicked off to start the match. Lennart Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Olle Vase tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Eric Back took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fred Olsson to make any attempt to save it. Olle Vase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Sjöman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eric Back recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Eric Back kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fred Olsson. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. A hard shot 22 in the game by Fredric Åkerström from a close distance when the talented Fred Olsson managed to make a qualified save. Bergkvara's players were relieved. Herbert Ivarsson hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Olle Vase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Engström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fred Olsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Back in the 30th minute of play. Bergkvara's Fred Olsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Bergkvara from getting a goal against them. In the 41st minute, Fredric Åkerström made a precise shot to the right of Fred Olsson. Bergkvara's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joseph Sjöman was the one to do the kick off. Bergkvara's Lennart Engström got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bergkvara's Fred Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Back in the 65th minute of play. Joseph Sjöman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olle Vase having to interfere. When Grimstorp IK's Fredric Åkerström in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bergkvara's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Bergkvara getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Jan-Åke Johnsson hit a great ball. Olle Vase showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Sjöman, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Joseph Sjöman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Bergkvara's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fred Olsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Åkerström, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. A collision led to Grimstorp IK getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Arvin Nordal hit a great ball. Tord Strömqvist didn't quite understand what happened when in the 96 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Grimstorp IK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
