The supporters of Säffle FF booed when The Money Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Ståhlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Börje Vennerlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Money Team's Henry Ahlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börje Vennerlund in the 30th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Karl Ståhlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Börje Vennerlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Henry Ahlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 54 minutes of play, Säffle FF's Börje Vennerlund made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henry Ahlin was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hjalmar Melander during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in The Money Team's zone, Einar Hjeltman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Ahlin came out of the goal and Einar Hjeltman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boris Bruhn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Börge Uggla made a huge save. Säffle FF's Claes Kuse was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Henry Ahlin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
