Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ernst Gråberg kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Bengt Säf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Ahlin was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nils Holmgren during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in The Money Team's zone, Bengt Säf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henry Ahlin came out of the goal and Bengt Säf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boris Bruhn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Ernst Gråberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joar Alegren, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bengt Säf was the one to do the kick off. Johan Tidén kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Bernt Lundin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Henry Ahlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to The Money Team getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gabriel Wassenius hit a great ball. Henry Ahlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Säf, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute Ernst Gråberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Alegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joar Alegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Holmgren in the 66th minute of the match. The Money Team's Henry Ahlin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save The Money Team from getting a goal against them. Henry Ahlin was a little too slow when Bengt Säf got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-1. Joar Alegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
