After a defensive mix-up in Klimpfjäll's zone, Arne Ahlroht stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Viberg came out of the goal and Arne Ahlroht tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivar Viberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Galle in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Kim Galle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Millwall's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Klimpfjäll the free kick. In the 11th match minute, Millwall was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Galle to maneuver through the defense. Kim Galle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Arne Ahlroht left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Millwall fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arman Västlund couldn't finish the play. Arne Ahlroht was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Millwall's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
