Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) By kyrkby's Reine Lundberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ivar Viberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sonny Lindsten in the 4th minute of play. John Bern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Bern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Viberg having to interfere. Ivar Viberg came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by By kyrkby's John Bern. But to his dismay, John Bern quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Reine Lundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reine Lundberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Klimpfjäll's goal looked a bit too open when Reine Lundberg came free, but Ivar Viberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Klimpfjäll's Ivar Viberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Bern in the 38th minute of play. Reine Lundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivar Viberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Lindsten, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Reine Lundberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carl Tunström was the one to do the kick off. If Reine Lundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the game, Timmy Kihlman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. By kyrkby's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Klimpfjäll the free kick. A collision led to By kyrkby getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Timmy Kihlman hit a great ball. Klimpfjäll's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Reine Lundberg 66 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. John Bern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ivar Viberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reine Lundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Viberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reine Lundberg in the 81st minute of play forced Klimpfjäll's goalkeeper Ivar Viberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. By kyrkby's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
