After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Isaac Brandin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ransäter IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Brandin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Haegg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Evert Kilstedt could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Emanuel Haegg however easily saved by the left post. Sonny Malmberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Älmtamåla IF's Jan-Åke Åkerström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Erik Björk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Emanuel Haegg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Brandin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sonny Malmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 played minutes Ransäter IK got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Brandin. When Gert Ahlin came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Ransäter IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gert Ahlin couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the game, Evert Kilstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ransäter IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Älmtamåla IF the free kick. Evert Kilstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Ransäter IK's Sven-Erik Björk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Malmberg in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Åke Åkerström in the 26th minute of play forced Ransäter IK's goalkeeper Sven-Erik Björk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Brandin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Joachim Smedfeldt fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ransäter IK's protests and gave Joachim Smedfeldt a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes Ransäter IK got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Smedfeldt. Emanuel Haegg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evert Kilstedt in the 44th minute. Emanuel Haegg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Brandin in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Hugo Ekelund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Älmtamåla IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ransäter IK the free kick. A collision led to Älmtamåla IF getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Hugo Ekelund hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Sonny Malmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sven-Erik Björk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 played minutes Ransäter IK got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Ström. Jan-Åke Åkerström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Erik Björk having to interfere. Sonny Malmberg struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Sven-Erik Björk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Älmtamåla IF. Emanuel Haegg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evert Kilstedt in the 95th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Älmtamåla IF's zone, Isaac Brandin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Haegg came out of the goal and Isaac Brandin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Älmtamåla IF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ransäter IK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
