After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Ove Kjellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. KingClub's supporters rose to their feet, but Ove Kjellkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Greger Granberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximilian Ennegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Greger Granberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximilian Ennegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute, Ove Kjellkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximilian Ennegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greger Granberg having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of KingClub booed when Örebro Albions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sverker Åman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58thth minute of the game Maximilian Ennegren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Örebro Albions's Greger Granberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ove Kjellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Hjortsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Ivan Larsfält tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Jan-Ove Siöberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KingClub's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Örebro Albions the free kick. After a rather tough play, KingClub's Jan-Ove Siöberg got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 80th minute Ove Kjellkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Granberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Lundkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Matthias Lundin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Örebro Albions players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KingClub.
