Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Holmön BK's Herman Skoglund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Andreasson got free with Christian Helberg in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 10 minutes, Jan Andreasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kista's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Andreasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Simon Wennerström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Helberg was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 13th minute of the match Andreas Kilberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olov Eckegren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hannes Högberg during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hannes Högberg hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Herman Skoglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Eckegren having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Kista got a freekick which was hit by Stig Sjögren. If Herman Skoglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute of the match, Simon Wennerström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christian Helberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Christian Helberg was a little too slow when Jan Andreasson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. Herman Skoglund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Mikael Pihlwall cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Olov Eckegren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute, Holmön BK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jan Andreasson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Simon Wennerström was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Jan Andreasson came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Christian Helberg could save by the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simon Wennerström to make the kick off. Herman Skoglund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Kista's goalkeeper Olov Eckegren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mikael Pihlwall. 59 minutes into the match, Holmön BK's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Andreasson came free, but Christian Helberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Helberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hannes Högberg in the 62nd minute of play. Jan Andreasson struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Christian Helberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kista. In the 69th minute Simon Wennerström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Helberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Holmön BK booed when Kista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannes Högberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Thomas Beckeman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olov Eckegren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mikael Pihlwall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Olov Eckegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play Kista's Hannes Högberg was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 79th match minute, Kista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannes Högberg to maneuver through the defense. Stig Sjögren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mikael Pihlwall came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olov Eckegren could save by the left post. If Jan Andreasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Pihlwall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Olov Eckegren made a huge save.
