Karl-Åke Eckegren helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Beer Boys booed when Real Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Åke Eckegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Real Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Tingberg came free, but Alf Kruse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Åke Eckegren in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wictor Rosén saved Beer Boys from getting behind. Valter Telin charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valter Telin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivar Tingberg's late challenge caught a Real Madrid's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivar Tingberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Beer Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivar Tingberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute of the match Valter Telin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alf Kruse skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Real Madrid's Karl-Johan Åkesson got a free kick in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Beer Boys's zone, Karl-Åke Eckegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wictor Rosén came out of the goal and Karl-Åke Eckegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Nicklas Pååk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alf Kruse. Real Madrid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicklas Pååk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Real Madrid's Karl-Johan Åkesson shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Wictor Rosén but with some difficulty. Wictor Rosén acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Karl-Johan Åkesson. Real Madrid's Alf Kruse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicklas Pååk in the 44th minute of play. Ivar Tingberg hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. August Wennerquist kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nicklas Pååk made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Konrad Häger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wictor Rosén showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Beer Boys's Erik Smedfeldt broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Åke Eckegren in the 58th minute of play forced Beer Boys's goalkeeper Wictor Rosén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beer Boys's Wictor Rosén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Ek in the 62nd minute of play. If Karl-Åke Eckegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Åke Eckegren in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wictor Rosén saved Beer Boys from getting behind. Alf Kruse made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Greger Biörkquist sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute, Edvin Stålman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wictor Rosén was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 93rd minute Elliott Ek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wictor Rosén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Beer Boys players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
