The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Nilfgaard IF booed when FC Mask was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Konrad Jespersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig Nordlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sven-Oskar Aronsson struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Patrick Albom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nilfgaard IF. Sven-Oskar Aronsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Patrick Albom made a huge save. Manfred Ros kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Michael Bergström struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Patrick Albom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nilfgaard IF. If Michael Bergström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Konrad Jespersson was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, FC Mask's Manfred Ros got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 57 minutes, Manfred Ros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Mask and the Nilfgaard IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manfred Ros hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, Nilfgaard IF's Konrad Jespersson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Albom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Nilfgaard IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Karl Åkesson scored to the left of an out of position Kent Giliusson, making the score, 2-1. In the 69th minute Konrad Jespersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Albom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Nilfgaard IF's goalkeeper Kent Giliusson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl Åkesson. Michael Bergström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrick Albom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Nilfgaard IF's Michael Bergström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrick Albom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patrick Albom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Jespersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After having played for 87 minutes, Konrad Jespersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nilfgaard IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Konrad Jespersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Patrick Albom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Bergström in the 96th minute of play forced FC Mask's goalkeeper Patrick Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kent Giliusson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfred Ros in the 97th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nilfgaard IF fully deserved thier win.
