After 6 played minutes Barfotahelgon got a freekick which was hit by Erling Bergkvist. After having played for 10 minutes, Jimmy Lundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hallstahammar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmy Lundberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sören Harlén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Michael Fågel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Barfotahelgon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sören Biörk to maneuver through the defense. Jimmy Lundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Michael Fågel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jimmy Lundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Fågel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Lundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Arvid Finman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wiktor Bock made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robin Säv in the 28th minute. Michael Fågel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmy Lundberg in the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Barfotahelgon's zone, Sören Harlén stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Fågel came out of the goal and Sören Harlén tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute Sören Harlén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Fågel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erling Bergkvist hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes of play, Hallstahammar's Jimmy Lundberg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Fågel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Hallstahammar were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arvid Finman to make the kick off. Michael Fågel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sören Harlén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arvid Finman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiktor Bock having to interfere. After 61 minutes of play, Barfotahelgon's Arvid Finman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wiktor Bock was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Barfotahelgon's Robin Säv in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hallstahammar's goalie prevented a goal. 74 minutes into the match, Barfotahelgon's Robin Säv sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wiktor Bock narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jimmy Lundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Erling Bergkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jimmy Lundbergs short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Michael Fågel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 97 minutes into the match, Hallstahammar's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Säv came free, but Wiktor Bock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
