In the 4th minute Karl-Oskar Öman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Holmberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Danielsson hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Roy Holmberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrick Westerberg went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Karl-Oskar Öman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the game, Fred Danielsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skärholmen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Watchmeisters TFC the free kick. A collision led to Skärholmen getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Fred Danielsson hit a great ball. Carl Hultman, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Watchmeisters TFC's Karl-Oskar Öman in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skärholmen's goalie prevented a goal. Helge Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Helge Andreasson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Åke Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Åke Pettersson made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Watchmeisters TFC's Patrick Westerberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Helge Andreasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ulf Hallgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulf Hallgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Andreasson in the 63rd minute of play. Fred Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Hallgren having to interfere. If Patrick Westerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Westerberg struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Roy Holmberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Watchmeisters TFC. Åke Pettersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulf Hallgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helge Andreasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute Åke Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Hallgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Helge Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulf Hallgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Åke Pettersson's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When Roland Bergman fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Watchmeisters TFC's protests and gave Roland Bergman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Watchmeisters TFC's Roland Bergman got a free kick in the 94th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Åke Pettersson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulf Hallgren. Watchmeisters TFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Åke Pettersson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Watchmeisters TFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Skärholmen.
