Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Max Linqvist made the kick off which started today's match. Ingvar Ekberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tom Bruhn's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute, Arvid Blom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute Max Linqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Nyberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frans Tunström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Magne Nyberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Max Linqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingvar Ekberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Bruhn, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Tom Bruhn might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ingvar Ekberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tom Bruhn ran back to his position shaking his head. Magne Nyberg made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Frans Tunström sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute, Åbroddens SK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Max Linqvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Åbroddens SK's Kjell Hökqvist got a free kick in the 30th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Herrljunga's Frans Tunström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Magne Nyberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Max Linqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arvid Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edvard Sävström made a kick off. Frans Tunström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Magne Nyberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Lundgren's late challenge caught a Herrljunga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peter Lundgren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Åbroddens SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Lundgren to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Åbroddens SK's goalkeeper Magne Nyberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Frans Tunström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herrljunga's supporters rose to their feet, but Frans Tunström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magne Nyberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Max Linqvist scored 1-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Magne Nyberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Magne Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Max Linqvist in the 67th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frans Tunström in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magne Nyberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frans Tunström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Max Linqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Magne Nyberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Tunström in the 83rd minute of play. Frans Tunström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Åbroddens SK's goal looked a bit too open when Max Linqvist came free, but Magne Nyberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Åbroddens SK's Edvard Sävström got a free kick in the 91st minute. Ingvar Ekberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tom Bruhn in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Herrljunga players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
