Alvin Mellbad struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Rolf Löfdahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vena Boys. Winford Brodeur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magnus Hurtig in the 44th minute of play. When Zebastian Bergström came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Dala-Järna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zebastian Bergström couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Reine Stor's late challenge caught a Vena Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reine Stor helped the player get up and apologised. Alvin Mellbad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Löfdahl having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Magnus Hurtig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvin Mellbad struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Rolf Löfdahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vena Boys. Manfred Källberg's late challenge caught a Vena Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manfred Källberg helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dala-Järna fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Alvin Mellbad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolf Löfdahl having to make a save. In the 84th minute, Alvin Mellbad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolf Löfdahl was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Zebastian Bergström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Dala-Järna booed when Vena Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Pettersson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
