Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Per Henriksson started the match with the kick off. If Carl Sjö had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörn IF's Sixten Bern got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sixten Bern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Daniel Stigsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Gånghester got a freekick which was hit by George Svensson. In the 13th minute Per Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Björkkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Jörn IF booed when Gånghester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Fribäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Stigsson came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Jörn IF's Agne Bergvall. But to his dismay, Agne Bergvall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 22nd match minute, Jörn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petter Ahlroth to maneuver through the defense. Gånghester's Mattias Fribäck shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 23rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Roger Björkkvist but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, Jörn IF's Tony Hökkvist got a free kick in the 24th minute. Carl Sjö could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Roger Björkkvist made a huge save. When Agne Bergvall came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Jörn IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agne Bergvall couldn't finish the play. Roger Björkkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Henriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carl Sjö in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roger Björkkvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Valdemar Liljeström fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jörn IF's protests and gave Valdemar Liljeström a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gånghester booed when Jörn IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Liljeström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Carl Sjö managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gånghester's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl Sjö was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Björkkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Jörn IF getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Petter Ahlroth hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
After having played for 56 minutes, Carl Sjö managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gånghester's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Sjö was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roger Björkkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Sjö, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Mattias Jönsätt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gånghester's Daniel Stigsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Gånghester from getting a goal against them. Per Henriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roger Björkkvist having to interfere. Roger Björkkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carl Sjö's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Per Henriksson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roger Björkkvist having to make a save. Jörn IF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
