Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rimbo IF's Ingmar Backlund started the match with a crisp pass. Alfons Alebäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Allbom having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Richard Busk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niklas Allbom was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Jan-Olof Åkerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Eric Nilsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Vikmanshyttan BF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
