Thomas Stolpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Sjöman in the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of Myresjö booed when AS Dalarö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magnus Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Helge Arenstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Myresjö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Helge Arenstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AS Dalarö's Arman Grubb proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save AS Dalarö from getting a goal against them. If Bengt-Arne Rang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Valter Dalman fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Myresjö's protests and gave Valter Dalman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Myresjö's Valter Dalman got a free kick in the 29th minute. Villiam Lund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Myresjö's Thomas Stolpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Åke Duset in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Patrik Wallman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Myresjö fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some careless play in the AS Dalarö defense, Helge Arenstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arman Grubb. The AS Dalarö fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arman Grubb should have stopped the shot. Nils-Åke Duset hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Nils-Åke Duset fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Stolpe having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Bengt-Arne Rang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Helge Arenstedt might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arman Grubb. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Helge Arenstedt ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute, Myresjö's Karl-Erik Sundström seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Karl-Erik Sundström the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Myresjö protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Karl-Erik Sundström had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 61 minutes into the game, one of Myresjö:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave AS Dalarö a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Elias Berglund, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Myresjö's Thomas Stolpe. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils-Åke Duset in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Stolpe saved Myresjö from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nils-Åke Duset in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Stolpe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Myresjö were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AS Dalarö for a fine match.
