After 26 played minutes Rockefeller Center Squad got a freekick which was hit by Roger Andberg. In the 27th minute, Lars Walmarsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jimmie Ahlfors was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Jörgen Almkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arne Bammerman was the one to do the kick off. Jörgen Almkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmie Ahlfors having to interfere. Algot Bruhn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Bammerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 57 minutes into the match, Rockefeller Center Squad's goalkeeper Algot Bruhn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Håkan Ström. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörgen Almkvist in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmie Ahlfors prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jimmie Ahlfors showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torsten Rydberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Fårösund IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jörgen Almkvist came free, but Jimmie Ahlfors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaf Hake took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Algot Bruhn. Rockefeller Center Squad's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
