An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Sigvard Lindman got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 30 minutes into the game, Sune Brun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ärla FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carbonite FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Ärla FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carbonite FC:s goal. Torbjörn Kvist placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Jens Dahlqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute of the match Torbjörn Kvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lennart Hedkvist skillfully saved the ball. Lennart Hedkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Dahlqvist in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, John Ros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Carbonite FC booed when Ärla FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigvard Lindman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Carbonite FC's zone, Victor Möllgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lukas Lidberg came out of the goal and Victor Möllgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ärla FK's Ivan Jönsätt got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lukas Lidberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Möllgren in the 81st minute of the match. John Ros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Lennart Hedkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carbonite FC's Stefan Frisck suffered a concussion in the 90th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Sven-Arne Strand charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Arne Strand the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st match minute, Ärla FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Arne Strand to maneuver through the defense.
