The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Lars Mattsson made a precise shot to the right of Aaron Kihlberg. Götaholms BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Ragnar Ekerot kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Aaron Kihlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Mattsson in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragnar Ekerot in the 15th minute of play forced Mörrum BK's goalkeeper Hampus Falck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rickard Åkesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aaron Kihlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Tony Bokelund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Aaron Kihlberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ragnar Ekerot scored 1-3 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hampus Falck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tony Bokelund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Kihlberg having to interfere. If Rickard Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Mörrum BK's Tony Bokelund in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Götaholms BK's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Rickard Åkesson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Kihlberg. Götaholms BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rickard Åkesson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony Bokelund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Götaholms BK's goalkeeper Aaron Kihlberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rickard Åkesson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Mattsson during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 55 played minutes Mörrum BK got a freekick which was hit by Lars Mattsson. Rickard Åkesson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Aaron Kihlberg made a huge save. Aaron Kihlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Bokelund, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Tony Bokelund put it in 1-6 from a short distance just to the right of Aaron Kihlberg. Rickard Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Aaron Kihlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rickard Åkesson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Aaron Kihlberg made a huge save. In the 71st of the match, Tony Bokelund tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Aaron Kihlberg got in the way and made a wonderful save. Rickard Åkesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Kihlberg having to interfere. Götaholms BK's Aaron Kihlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Bokelund in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Götaholms BK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rickard Åkesson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ragnar Ekerot kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Tony Bokelund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tony Bokelund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
