In the 5th minute Thor Karlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Anundsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Andréas Wahlnäs kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paul Aronsson. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Gunnar Anundsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Karlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Thor Karlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gunnar Anundsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Blidsberg's Georg Lund got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Gunnar Anundsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thor Karlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malcolm Örnberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gunnar Anundsson. Hörby's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Hääger in the 31st minute of play forced Hörby's goalkeeper Gunnar Anundsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Karl Hääger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 minutes, Magne Andreasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blidsberg and the Hörby players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Blidsberg getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Magne Andreasson hit a great ball. Blidsberg's Karl Hääger got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thor Karlberg to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl Hääger got free with Gunnar Anundsson in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thor Karlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st match minute, Hörby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andréas Wahlnäs to maneuver through the defense. Hörby's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Karl Hääger scored to the left of an out of position Gunnar Anundsson, making the score, 1-1. Blidsberg's Ingvar Walroth shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gunnar Anundsson but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thor Karlberg in the 96th minute of play forced Hörby's goalkeeper Gunnar Anundsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Hörby fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Blidsberg were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
