Örns Glada Gubbar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TKCS Devils the free kick. If Robert Kullander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilhelm Finman was a little too slow when Rickard Hedin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 39th minute, Rickard Hedin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Örns Glada Gubbar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Wilhelm Finman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Rolandsson in the 44th minute of play. During the 45th minute of the match Dick Stenberg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dick Stenberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 45 played minutes TKCS Devils got a freekick which was hit by Dick Stenberg. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, Rickard Hedin notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of TKCS Devils's Wilhelm Finman. Wilhelm Finman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rickard Hedin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Finman having to interfere. In the 58th match minute, TKCS Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristian Bergström to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute of the match Stig-Arne Gudmundsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilhelm Finman skillfully saved the ball. In the 59th match minute, Örns Glada Gubbar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Almqvist to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Bengt-Åke Hellbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Örns Glada Gubbar's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt-Åke Hellbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilhelm Finman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilhelm Finman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Rolandsson's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. If Rickard Hedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph Lindholm made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Robert Kullander sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the game, Örns Glada Gubbar's Adam Torsberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilhelm Finman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After 87 minutes, Rickard Hedin made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. TKCS Devils's Wilhelm Finman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of TKCS Devils booed when Örns Glada Gubbar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Almqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball.
