When Slamrock United's Filip Brovall in 12 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Bo Åberg guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a rather tough play, IFK Stålarbetare's Bernt Aspengren got a free kick in the 13th minute. Filip Brovall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Åberg having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Slamrock United's Alfred Kinnman got a free kick in the 19th minute. Wiktor Isaksson, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 21st minute, Elof Lundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bo Åberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andreas Ekeroth went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute, Filip Brovall left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Slamrock United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. IFK Stålarbetare's Bo Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Ekeroth in the 38th minute of play. Bo Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Ekeroth, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 46th minute, Rickard Gerdberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Morgan Berg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Sonny Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The IFK Stålarbetare players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Slamrock United were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rickard Gerdberg to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Morgan Berg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Andreas Ekeroth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bo Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Stålarbetare's zone, Andreas Ekeroth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bo Åberg came out of the goal and Andreas Ekeroth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Filip Brovall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slamrock United's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Brovall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bo Åberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Filip Brovall made a precise shot to the right of Bo Åberg. IFK Stålarbetare's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After having played for 71 minutes, Andreas Ekeroth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slamrock United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas Ekeroth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rickard Gerdberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filip Brovall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Åberg having to interfere. Bernt Aspengren hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Slamrock United's Andreas Ekeroth got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Slamrock United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
