Spectators: 6958 (Terracing: 5448, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 10) Malmö Crusaders FC's Valentin Finnman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Henning Österberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Söderström in the 3rd minute. Tommy Ferm made in the 8th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Malmö Crusaders FC's Mats Lundqvist. Malmö Crusaders FC's Valentin Finnman got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Valentin Finnman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jimmy Bremming was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 16th minute Edwin Kullander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henning Österberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 played minutes Malmö Crusaders FC got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Örnberg. Helgonagatan IF's Jimmy Bremming played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Finnman in the 23rd minute of play. Aron Blanck kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When Johan Näfver came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Malmö Crusaders FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johan Näfver couldn't finish the play. Johan Andersson's late challenge caught a Malmö Crusaders FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johan Andersson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Helgonagatan IF's Johan Andersson got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Valentin Finnman came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Malmö Crusaders FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Finnman couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edwin Kullander made a kick off. Helgonagatan IF's Jimmy Bremming proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Helgonagatan IF from getting a goal against them. Henning Österberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Söderström in the 57th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Valentin Finnman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimmy Bremming saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 played minutes Valentin Finnman rounded Helgonagatan IF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Jimmy Bremming showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Finnman, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Johan Andersson got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jimmy Bremming made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johan Näfver in the 75th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kevin Söderström during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Helgonagatan IF got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Söderström. Johan Näfver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmy Bremming having to interfere. Jimmy Bremming made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Finnman in the 84th minute of play. Jimmy Bremming took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Finnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malmö Crusaders FC played a much better game than Helgonagatan IF and deserved their victory. The Helgonagatan IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
