Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tråvad IF's Kjell-Arne Nord started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th match minute, Tråvad IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicklas Söderquist to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Ove Kvalfält hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Skepperstad BK's Helge Bark got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a rather tough play, Tråvad IF's Börje Bäckman got a free kick in the 14th minute. Kjell-Arne Nord was extremely unlucky when he, in the 16th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 20 minutes into the match, Tråvad IF's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Glanselius came free, but Tage Trillkott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Skepperstad BK's Yngve Ståhlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Skepperstad BK from getting a goal against them. Oscar Falkrans kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Skepperstad BK got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Falkrans. In the 27th minute of the match Evert Engström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yngve Ståhlberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell-Arne Nord in the 28th minute of play forced Skepperstad BK's goalkeeper Yngve Ståhlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Tråvad IF's goal looked a bit too open when Kaj Billock came free, but Tage Trillkott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Tråvad IF's Kjell-Arne Nord dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Kjell-Arne Nord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Yngve Ståhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Kjell-Arne Nord managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tråvad IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell-Arne Nord was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yngve Ståhlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harry Glanselius was the one to do the kick off. Birger Ennegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Yngve Ståhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Tråvad IF's Filiph Wennerström got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute of the match Christer Bengtsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tage Trillkott skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Kjell-Arne Nord's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yngve Ståhlberg was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. 67 minutes into the match, Skepperstad BK's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Ennegren came free, but Yngve Ståhlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tråvad IF's Birger Ennegren in 74 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Yngve Ståhlberg guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Skepperstad BK's Yngve Ståhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell-Arne Nord in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute Birger Ennegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yngve Ståhlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Skepperstad BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Tråvad IF. Evert Engström stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Yngve Ståhlberg. 3-0. Kjell-Arne Nord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Ståhlberg having to interfere. If Börje Bäckman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90thth minute of the game Kjell-Arne Nord who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skepperstad BK's Yngve Ståhlberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kjell-Arne Nord received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Yngve Ståhlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Skepperstad BK's Yngve Ståhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell-Arne Nord in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Tråvad IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
