Spectators: 6991 (Terracing: 5200, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Claes Hammarbäck took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Skepperstad BK's Helge Bark got a free kick in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Isaksson in the 3rd minute of play forced Skepperstad BK's goalkeeper Yngve Ståhlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Isaksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yngve Ståhlberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emanuel Isaksson ran back to his position shaking his head. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Solberg IFK! Harry Glanselius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Söderquist having to interfere. Jonas Söderquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Glanselius in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Harry Glanselius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Söderquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Claes Hammarbäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kristoffer Granqvist succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to get real power on a long shot . Skepperstad BK's Yngve Ståhlberg hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-1! A hard shot by Lennart Ålberg from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Jonas Söderquist's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Billy Gustafsson charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Billy Gustafsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Skepperstad BK booed when Solberg IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Gustafsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 44 minutes, Mikael Åström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skepperstad BK and the Solberg IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mikael Åström kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harry Glanselius was the one to do the kick off. Yngve Ståhlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Hydén in the 51st minute. Claes Hammarbäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jim Brandin hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Emanuel Isaksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Solberg IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Isaksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yngve Ståhlberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Solberg IFK's Jonas Söderquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Glanselius in the 63rd minute of play. If Kaj Billock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute Kaj Billock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Söderquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Harry Glanselius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Solberg IFK's Jonas Söderquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Falkrans in the 74th minute of play. If Kaj Billock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Solberg IFK's Emanuel Isaksson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yngve Ståhlberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christopher Petersson hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Harry Glanselius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Söderquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Harry Glanselius succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Solberg IFK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Skepperstad BK.
