Rönnäng FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Magnus Sundberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arvin Pilgren hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The supporters of Rönnäng FF booed when Solberg IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henric Klementsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claes Hammarbäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Rönnäng FF's zone, Claes Hammarbäck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Malte Rosendal came out of the goal and Claes Hammarbäck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lars Mossberg struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Jonas Söderquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rönnäng FF. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Karl-Magnus Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rönnäng FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Magnus Sundberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Söderquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 1-0 became the score in the 20th minute when Karl-Magnus Sundberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rolf Stigsson took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Söderquist. Jonas Söderquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Isaksson in the 27th minute of play forced Rönnäng FF's goalkeeper Malte Rosendal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malte Rosendal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Isaksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Rolf Stigsson struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Jonas Söderquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rönnäng FF. The supporters of Rönnäng FF booed when Solberg IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Staffan Hybbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rolf Stigsson was the one to do the kick off. Rolf Stigsson scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonas Söderquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 58th minute, Karl-Magnus Sundberg made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Söderquist. Solberg IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Emanuel Isaksson came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Malte Rosendal could save by the left post. Rolf Stigsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Söderquist having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Solberg IFK's zone, Rolf Stigsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Söderquist came out of the goal and Rolf Stigsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Henric Klementsson notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Rönnäng FF's Malte Rosendal. Malte Rosendal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Malte Rosendal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Hammarbäck in the 75th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 79 minutes into the game, when Johnny Ödmann put in a rough tackle. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Solberg IFK! In the 86th match minute, Rönnäng FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvin Pilgren to maneuver through the defense. Rönnäng FF's Malte Rosendal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Rönnäng FF from getting a goal against them. Rönnäng FF's Rolf Stigsson got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Stigsson in the 92nd minute of play forced Solberg IFK's goalkeeper Jonas Söderquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rönnäng FF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
