If Stig-Arne Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Oscar Torsberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Järpen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Stig-Arne Mårtensson struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Silvio Eron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sjövik. In the 37th match minute, Sjövik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Arne Mårtensson to maneuver through the defense. When Stewart Sugden came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Järpen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stewart Sugden couldn't finish the play. Silvio Eron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Arne Mårtensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edvin Benet was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Järpen's Silvio Eron got control of the ball when Stig-Arne Mårtensson tried to sneak it across the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Järpen's goal looked a bit too open when Edvin Benet came free, but Silvio Eron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Kenneth Walroth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sjövik's Kenneth Walroth got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 75 played minutes Sjövik got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Walroth. When Stewart Sugden came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Järpen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stewart Sugden couldn't finish the play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sjövik eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
