Skattkärr FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Jönsätt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wictor Carlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luk Grauwen having to interfere. In the 30th minute Wictor Carlsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luk Grauwen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game August Skröder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skattkärr FK's Luk Grauwen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Skattkärr FK's Luk Grauwen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by August Skröder in the 37th minute of play. If August Skröder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Herrljunga were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When Leif Jönsätt came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Skattkärr FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leif Jönsätt couldn't finish the play. Herrljunga's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
