Spectators: 7025 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Einar Boberg kicked off to start the match. If Niklas Jonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Richard Benett managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Oskarshamn's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Benett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erland Asklöv breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Svaneholm's Marcus Sandell got a free kick in the 11th minute. Erland Asklöv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Einar Boberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ulf Pihlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Fors in the 16th minute of play. Richard Benett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erland Asklöv having to interfere. Ulf Pihlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from August Fors, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niklas Jonsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 29 minutes into the match, Svaneholm's goal looked a bit too open when Einar Boberg came free, but Erland Asklöv reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niklas Jonsson in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulf Pihlberg saved IFK Oskarshamn from getting behind. In the 44th minute Niklas Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Pihlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svaneholm's Niklas Jonsson got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 47 played minutes IFK Oskarshamn got a freekick which was hit by George Boström. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ulf Pihlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niklas Jonsson in the 54th minute of the match. August Fors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Pihlberg having to interfere. Ulf Pihlberg made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when August Fors sent off a good shot on target. August Fors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, IFK Oskarshamn's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Jonsson came free, but Ulf Pihlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. August Fors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ulf Pihlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, IFK Oskarshamn's Ulf Pihlberg got control of the ball when August Fors tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulf Pihlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Jonsson in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Oskarshamn's goalkeeper Ulf Pihlberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Ulf Pihlberg managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Svaneholm's August Fors fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 85th minute, Einar Boberg made a precise shot to the right of Erland Asklöv. Svaneholm's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Ulf Pihlberg made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when August Fors sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, IFK Oskarshamn's goal looked a bit too open when Niklas Jonsson came free, but Ulf Pihlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erland Asklöv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Boberg in the 94th minute of play. Niklas Jonsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulf Pihlberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niklas Jonsson ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew the final whistle, IFK Oskarshamn could leave the field as winners, despite Svaneholm having more of the ball for most of the match.
