Spectators: 7298 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 145) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Holger Mårtensson made the kick off which started today's match. Bo Alebäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Mickelsson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Petter Ekeroth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Project Playground's supporters rose to their feet, but Petter Ekeroth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philip Mickelsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Åsarna FK's Philip Mickelsson got control of the ball when Bo Alebäck tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Project Playground's zone, Vilhelm Boman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfons Lilja came out of the goal and Vilhelm Boman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilhelm Boman in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfons Lilja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vilhelm Boman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfons Lilja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Holger Mårtensson's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Holger Mårtensson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åsarna FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Holger Mårtensson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfons Lilja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Vilhelm Boman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Åsarna FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Boman in the 40th minute of play forced Project Playground's goalkeeper Alfons Lilja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vilhelm Boman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Åsarna FK's Holger Mårtensson got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petter Ekeroth made a kick off. Alfons Lilja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Holger Mårtensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Project Playground getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Michel Hellbom hit a great ball. Bengt Skark hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Project Playground's Holger Säv couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Åsarna FK. Vilhelm Boman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Project Playground's Ivan Gustafsson got a free kick in the 80th minute. Alfons Lilja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Holger Mårtensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Sture Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Project Playground's zone, Vilhelm Boman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfons Lilja came out of the goal and Vilhelm Boman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Åsarna FK played a much better game than Project Playground and deserved their victory. The Project Playground players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
