Ingvar Hägert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sverker Arenberg scored 1-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ingvar Hägert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Dag Brandt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skiljebo SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Dag Brandt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sonny Walroth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leonardo Lindberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sonny Walroth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonardo Lindberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Eskil Bern hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Robert Wik put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ingvar Hägert. Skiljebo SK's Wictor Söderström pulled a muscle in his back after 46 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Karl-Oskar Gummeson's late challenge caught a Skiljebo SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl-Oskar Gummeson helped the player get up and apologised. Skiljebo SK made a substitution. Allan Alstedt replaced Wictor Söderström. The wind increased when Karl-Oskar Hedin made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Ingvar Hägert managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Broaryd's Karl-Oskar Hedin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Broaryd's Sonny Walroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dag Brandt in the 58th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Sverker Arenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dag Brandt in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sonny Walroth saved Broaryd from getting behind. Max Lång received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Sonny Walroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sonny Walroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Leonardo Lindberg took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sonny Walroth. Sonny Walroth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Skiljebo SK's Ingvar Hägert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Oskar Hedin in the 70th minute of play. Ingvar Hägert was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Karl-Oskar Gummeson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl-Oskar Gummeson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Skiljebo SK's Dag Brandt got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ingvar Hägert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Oskar Gummeson in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Broaryd's Sverker Arenberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ingvar Hägert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Oskar Hedin in the 85th minute of play forced Skiljebo SK's goalkeeper Ingvar Hägert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Dag Brandt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sonny Walroth was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Sonny Walroth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. The Broaryd players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
