Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inge Stabbe succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Voxnabruk's Simon Åberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viggo Friberger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, FC Divers's goalkeeper Viggo Friberger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inge Stabbe. FC Divers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inge Stabbe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kjell Holmberg got free with Jonas Henriksson in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute Inge Stabbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viggo Friberger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egon Martinsson in the 72nd minute of play forced Voxnabruk's goalkeeper Jonas Henriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matthias Bodin kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Egon Martinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sigvard Askelöf helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, one of FC Divers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Divers. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Voxnabruk. Malcolm Sandberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Viggo Friberger. 4-0. After having played for 88 minutes, Egon Martinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Divers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egon Martinsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Voxnabruk's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
